Bosch Thermotechnology, one of the world's leading manufacturers of gas boilers and water heaters, is represented in Italy by the brands Junkers and e.l.m. leblanc.
Since 1895 the brand Junkers has been associated with technological innovations and with the evolution of heating appliances directed to improving comfort and ease of use, thanks to the researches and inventions of Hugo Junkers, the company founder.
In 1932 the heating division was acquired by Robert Bosch, that was already engaged in the research and development of high-tech products in its numerous fields of activity.
After the acquisition of important European thermotechnology firms this division was named Bosch Thermotechnology.
e.l.m. leblanc SA, the second most important manufacturer of gas boilers and instantaneous water heaters in France, was acquired by Bosch in 1996.
